Innovating Together

Project for the ATM sector made with RIM (Reaction Injection Mould) technology in compact structural rigid polyurethane Baydur®110 FR, replacing sheet metal while combining lightness, strength and aesthetics.

Innovating Together

The Challenge

Replacing sheet metal with high-performance materials, improving both the product's aesthetics and its structural strength.

Requirements

Compact structural rigid polyurethane with V0 classification, paints with high resistance to scratches and UV rays, ensuring an optimal balance between lightness and strength.

S4Technology: an "END to END" approach

The project was developed with an end-to-end approach to the production of components in compact polyurethane Baydur®110 FR (Flame Retardant), managing the entire production process in-house.

Activities included component design, mould development and manufacturing, and the subsequent production of the parts. The work was carried out in close collaboration with the customer through a co-design process, which made it possible to define the most effective technical solutions and to identify the most suitable material according to the product's performance and aesthetic requirements. This integrated approach allowed direct control over all development and production phases, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, high quality of the final product and adherence to project timelines.
